Participants who skip breakfast actually tend to consume fewer calories, with resultant weight loss. Breakfast eaters, meanwhile, typically consume more than 250 extra calories a day, and gain weight accordingly.
It’s also been confirmed that eating breakfast has no direct connection, in general, on weight loss for women. Men, meanwhile, were only slightly better at maintaining their weight on a breakfast-eating schedule.

While breakfasts may not be directly related to weight loss, research has shown that a breakfast schedule may help to decrease the risk of Type 2 diabetes. What’s more, it may also enhance your attention and memory, as well as improving executive functions.
Furthermore, studies have also shown that people who consume a higher percentage of their daily calories from breakfasts tend to feature lower BMIs than otherwise.
